When the geophysical equipment failure in the field, needing instrument to testing. The current testing equipment is bulky and high power consumption, which is not very applicable to the filed. According to this situation, I designed a set of low-frequency function signal and signal detection as one of the portable field instrument fault detection device.The portable field instrument failure detection installment is composed of a low-frequency signal generator and a low-frequency signal instrumentation. Elaborated the basic theory of signal generators and signal testing instruments work, based on this, has designed Signal generating device and detection device’system diagram; according to the desired waveform has designed DDS module and peripheral control circuit based on AD9851;In view of Characteristics of the input waveform, proposed the signal detection installment’s major technique target, according to the technical target, has designed pre-attenuation and impedance matching circuit, filter circuit, programmable magnification circuit, AD converter circuit, and signal shaping circuit. The need for the according to the function,control circuit’ designing is based on STM32F103ZE, and completed the LCD, clock circuits, power circuits etc.Then according to the design of Circuit to accomplish the PCB map, after the plate making, using signal devices and signal detection devices were carried out system test. Finally summarizes the work done in this paper, on this basis, proposed the next step work suggestion.
