During low-temperature pyrolysis of oil shale, shale oil could be obtained withhydrocarbon ratio similar to natural oil. Shale oil is also an important alternative topetroleum. Rational utilization of oil shale has a special strategic significance formaking up the lack of resources and easing the shortage of raw oil. Kinetics study onpyrolysis products of oil shale is the promise of optimal thermochemical conversion,and it is also the foundation for the comprehensive development and utilization ofoil shale.In this paper, experiment of oil shale pyrolysis was carried out in self-builtfixed-bed bench. The two samples collected from Huadian in Jilin Province andLongkou in Shandong Province were researched separately. The effect of differentheating rates(2℃/min,5℃/min,10℃/min,15℃/min) on the oil shale pyrolysisprocess of products generation was investigated. Based on results, it is concludedthat when the heating rate increases, the maximum weight loss of reactants reduces,and ultimate quality of liquid product collection decreases. As the gradually increaseof the heating rate, weight loss rate of oil shale pyrolysis reaction and collection rateof liquid product at the same temperature point both increase, and the peak ofreactant mass loss rate and liquid product collection rate offset to higher temperaturezone with the temperature increases and the yield rate of pyrolysis gas product issimilar. Using thermal gravimetric analysis principle, firstly we study the kineticscharacteristics of oil shale pyrolysis liquid products and gas products. According tothe thermal analysis principle, the dynamic characteristics of oil shale pyrolysisliquids and gaseous products is researched.Through different methods to strike oilshale pyrolysis kinetic factors, and finally get dynamic model. Activation energycalculated value of pyrolysis liquid products according to CR method is lower andthe fitting correlation coefficient is lower, while the value using FWO method and DAEM method is higher and the fitting correlation coefficient is higher. and it canwell shows the reaction course that the oil shale pyrolysis generates liquid productsfrom the dynamics side.
