Filamentous algae, a morphological concept, are generally composed of two or more cells. Chlorcoccales, which belongs to Clorophyta Chlorophyceae is a large order.Wetlands are important component of the ecology system of the water with very complex environmental characters. There are lots of specical species distributed in the wetland. It is very significant for the taxonomical and ecological research to study the algae in this area. Aer Mountain is located in the southwest of the Great Xing’an Mountain with high latitude, low temperature and high humidity. The swamp distribution is wide but concentrated. Two third of the swamp types of China are present in this area, but algae were rarely reported. We collected algal samples in this area seven times from2004to2011years. This paper studied the filamentous algae and Chlorcoccales taxonomy and ecology, which provided some basic information for study of algae diversity and flora in Great Xing’an Mountains, algae biodiversity and marsh ecological studies. The main results are as follows:1. Totally605samples were observed by LM.244taxa, including219species25varieties belong to4classes76genera were identified. Among them32taxa are new records in china. The filamentous algae has109taxa, including106species3varieties belong to4classes37genera. According to the numbers of species, Tribonema is the most.21taxa belongs to Tribonema were identified, which accounts for19%. Thes next is Oscillatoria, includes13taxa, which accounts for12%. Chlorcoccales has135taxa, including113species22varieties belong39genera. Scenedesmus is the most with21taxa, which accounts for16%. Next is Pediastrum with14taxa, which accounts for10%. Descriptions of the morphological and ecological characters are given for each species. LM images are given for all the species which were attached with21plates concluding286LM photos.31line drawings were provided for some species.2. The species composition and the ecological characteristics were simple were most abundant in lakes and lakeshore. Species of the flamentous algae were more in the lakeshore, the Stone Ponds; streams, marshes and other habitat.2) With the development of tourism, the diversity of algae in the lake were decreased. Dominant species that formed water bloom were observed in some lakes. There was little change of algal composition in other niche habitat.
