According to the data of TM and ETM remote sensing images from the year1999to2009, and using the research method which combined field geologicinvestigation and satellite remote sensing decipherment, we investigated the currentsituation of Inner Mongolia DaLiNuoEr Lake and surveyed the lake’s transition. In order to accomplish this paper, we collected the information of lakes, wetlandsand hydrology in this field, and extracted the remote sensing information of thoseobjects, and at the same time, basing on the information from topographic map, fieldgeologic investigation, and some other data resource, we analyzed the spectralsignatures reflected from remote sensing images of lakes, lakeshore saline-alkalifields and lakeshore vegetations. We enhanced the remote sensing images to extractthe optimal bands combination of lakes and established the interpretation keys forlakes, lakeshore saline-alkali fields and lakeshore vegetations and extracted theinformation of target objects combing materials from field geological investigation.Through GIS technology, we made the man-machine interactive interpretation oninformation about lakes and wetlands and drew the distribution map. According to thesurveys and interpretations, in this paper, we researched the area, spatial heterogeneityand lakeshore’s distribution about lakes and discussed the spatial distribution andtransition about lakes to provide fundamental materials and reference for analyzingthe ecological environment of DaLiNuoEr Lake.Basing on the research about the comparison between the area, spatialheterogeneity and lake shore line’s distribution of DaLiNuoEr Lake and other lakes, this paper showed that the lake’s area had a reducing trend and in some years therewas a rebound and the average annual rate was-3.29km2/year. According to thelake’s spatial heterogeneity characteristic, the lake withered the most seriously at itseast and northeast and the withering speed at east was ten times to it at northwest andthe lake’s center of gravity transferred0.69km toward southwest. The developmentcoefficient of lake shore line showed a reducing trend in general. Through thecomparison with lakes surrounding, the DaLiNuoEr Lake’s changes had typical representativeness and can reflect the climatic and ecological changes in this field.
