Spatial Distance plays an important role in the process of Spatial Analysis,SpatialReasoning,Cartographic Generalization and Spatial Distance,as same as SpatialDirection,Spatial Topological is an important theoretical issues in GIS.Due to thecomplexity and relativity of the Geospatial Information,Spatial Analysis Methods becomethe bottleneck constraints to Spatial Information Technology Development.Geo-information Tupu means:through graphic thinking and abstraction vast amounts ofinformation displays temporal and spatial variation of various elements and phenomenawith the help of computer multi-dimensional dynamic visualization technology andprovides a new way of thinking and methods of geospatial analysis.This paper reviews the status,theoretical basis,methods and the latest developments ofGeo-information Tupu,summarizes the expression of the domestic and international latestprogress of spatial object distance,tries combining spatial object distance withGeo-information Tupu theory,and provides a new way of thinking for Geo-informationTupu study.The specific work done by the paper as follows:a. Based on Geo-informationTupu theory the space object distance analysis methods is raised;b. To build the spaceobject distance model,to establish the benchmark,the complete structure of spatial objectdistance tupu,to generate the distance eigenvalue distribution,to extract eigenvalue oftupu(such as the mean, variance, entropy, etc.). on this basis,To build Jiangsu MunicipalBoundary Distance Tupu,and prove the method to be feasible and rational;c.With theapplication of space object distance tupu theory,to build a similar distance tupu,and makean example of trademark classification to prove that the method has practical applicationvalue.
