China is the country with the largest tobacco production and sales in the world. In Yunnan province, the tax revenue of tobacco industry accounted for about70%of the total tax revenues, and the rapid growth of the tax revenues mostly due to the tobacco industry's contribution. China removes the special tobacco retail license after Participating in WTO three years, witch makes competition in the tobacco market becoming more fiercer, so the tobacco industry needs to improve the logistics automation technology, reducing logistics cost, improve competitiveness. The latest development direction of tobacco industry logistics is information, automation and integration. To establish the modern distribution center is the new opportunities and challenges for the tobacco company to face.The design theory and key technology of cigarette distribution storage and sorting system is studied in the thesis. ABC, PCB and EIQ methods are introduced to plan and design analysis method. The method of one dimensional and multivariate distribution location, the processes of storage, sorting and delivery, the basic principles of equipments' selection, and RFID, DBMS, EDI, GIS/GPS technologies are also introduced in the thesis. The basic concept of system evaluation, the evaluation method of AHP, Delphi method, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the index weight determining method of relative comparison method, serial ratio method, entropy method, Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process are studied in this thesis. On this basis, the evaluation system, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and analytic hierarchy model of cigarette distribution storage and sorting system are established.Finally, the plan and design of cigarette distribution storage and sorting system in a city of Yunnan province is take for an example. The historical data of cigarette distribution is analyzed by using the EIQ in detail. To forecast the future sales according to the current data, two systems are planed and designed. Designing program of the system includes the distribution center layout, design of inventory unit, warehousing and sorting strategy, and equipment selection. Then, in the thesis two systems are evaluated, and the satisfactory system evaluation results are got. According to the results, some plan and design of the two systems are analyzed, and feasible suggestions are put forward.Through the thesis, the author hopes to have a reference about the plan and design of cigarette distribution storage and sorting system, and to promote the tobacco industry logistics facilities development much better. The author also hopes the thesis can provide some valuable constructive suggestions to the distribution center.
