Being in the starting stage, hairdressing industry belongs to sun rising industry. Now hairdressing industry has transformed from explorative growth stage of early stage to strategic thinking stage of middle term, so there are also many malpractices and crisis in the industry. Many industrial problems shall be studied and solved. Both in service supervision and enhancement of market rule, especially in evaluation on indicator of service quality, the whole hairdressing industry is in the explorative stage currently.Based on the background and development environment of hairdressing industry, the paper summarized domestic and foreign development status and prospect of the industry, and analyzed the external environment and internal condition of hairdressing health promotion chamber. Through analysis and investigation on SH hairdressing health promotion chamber, with the application of management knowledge in MBA of Yunnan University, by combining the reality with the actual status, the paper firstly analyzed the current situation of hairdressing industry. Then, through analysis on competitive environment of hairdressing industry, with application of3strategies and five-force model of Porter, the paper suggested that SH hairdressing health promotion chamber should applied strategic thinking based on service and should improve core competiveness of service by extruding importance of service, instead of extruding the battlefield of sellers. Small and middle hairdressing service providers shall make clear the importance of quality operation and establishment of brand. In the end, the suggestion on strategy implementation was proposed.
