With the development of information technology, informationization is developing from simple to complex integrated products application, from the tactical level rising to strategic level. With the aid of the information technology to analysis and mining the existing data, making it become the helpful information for enterprise's decision, and thus enhance the competitive advantage of the enterprise is the need of the development of enterprise informatization. Currently how to improve the operational efficiency of the ports, library field share, to strengthen information accuracy of port enterprise planning and scheduling, reasonable arrange port cargo plan has become the common subject of port enterprise managers. But the realization of the target relies on analizing the port cargo data comprehensively and multi-dimensionally, then mining valuable information to making decision. Now the port enterprise cargo statistics only confine to the fixed report for simple data query, listing data, can't realize effective statistical analysis, but decision support system in this aspect is well done.This article based on the port cargo statistics present situation propose forward to building decision support system of port cargo statistics for analysis demand. Building decision support system of port cargo statistics to realize the demand of Multidimensional analysis. The main work of the paper is as follows:Firstly detailed analyses and summarizes the present situation of the current port freight statistics and the existing problems; Secondly analysis the architecture design and the key technologies of enterprise decision support system,then taking Guangzhou port group port transport statistical analysis as an example to description how to design system model and data model of port cargo statistics decision support system; Finally apply intelligent reports analysis tools of Cognos and use the transportation statistics and analysis of the Guangzhou port group as an example analizing how to implement of decision support system of port cargo statistics.
