As an important and a new structure read in research of the relationship between organization development history and the strategic behavior, the organization imprinting is different from the path dependence perspective such as organizational routines and organization inert. It stressed that the things and persons in startup period and relative events always have an important impact on strategic behavior. The existing research has already proved that the organization imprinting is obviously related with the organization strategy in dynamic development environment. And studies also have mentioned that this relationship may relative to the management cognition. Based on the perspective of "mutation and choice" which is from Darwinism of evolutionary economics, this paper has analyzed the relationship between organization imprinting and strategy to get the dynamic evolution mechanism and the evolution process through the case study. There are three main levels. First of all, through the discussion of existing literature, the paper get the main dimensions of organization imprinting, and the possible relationships between the organization imprinting and management cognitive and strategic behavior. This is the theoretical basis of subsequent discussions. Secondly, through static case analysis, this paper gets the action mechanism of the organization imprinting to management cognitive and strategic behavior. This is the basis of relationship between imprinting and strategy. Finally, through the dynamic case analysis, this paper demonstrates the dynamic process that organization is affected by the factors such as the organization strategy and evolves gradually. Under the guidance of the concept of Darwinism of evolutionary economics, the paper demonstrates that the organization imprinting and organization strategy can influence each other and evolve collectively. Based on this, the paper puts forward the corresponding theoretical propositions and model, so as to enrich the related theory of organization imprinting, and give some suggestions for the strategic management in enterprise practice.
