The Research On The Problem And Tactics Of Foreign Direct Investment By Chinese Banking

Under the advancement of global economic integration and financial integration, economic links between countries around the world continue to enhance, and international investment has become one of the important ways of participating global economy and the important symbol of opening degree, international competitiveness and economic development level for one economic entity. If one economic entity wants to become a financial power, the proportion of financial industry must account for a significant proportion in foreign investment. Therefore, if China wants to make efforts to become financial power, it should speeds up foreign investment and improves the proportion of financial industry in foreign investment. With the deepening of strategy of'going out', Chinese financial industry has speeded up pace and gradually moved towards world financial market. China has performed the commitment of joining WTO, and opened domestic financial market since 2006. Foreign investment of Chinese financial industry begins to surge year by year. Flow amount of financial industrial foreign investment has soared from $ 35.5 billion in 2006 to $ 86.3 billion in 2010, and its average annual growth rate is 10.6%, keeping good growth for consecutive nine years.Although development momentum of Chinese financial industry is good, there are still many problems and risks in the process of foreign investment by financial industry. At present, based on the need of economic development, most of Chinese enterprises choose to overseas, but the development speed of foreign investment by Chinese financial industry lags behind the industries which need financial services. In addition, Chinese financial enterprises are lack of foreign financial situation and system and make improper management of risk, making actual operation difficulty of foreign investment by financial industry bigger and recent foreign investment repeated convicted. Meanwhile, relevant legal system of foreign investment by financial industry is not sound, and relevant professional talents in financial industry are lack, affecting the development speed of foreign investment by financial industry. However, due to high growth of foreign investment demand by financial industry and the downturn of foreign financial institutions after hit by global financial crisis, development potential of Chinese foreign financial market is unlimited. Therefore, it is important to study various problems which are come across by Chinese financial foreign investment and seek for solutions. This paper uses method of combining a lot of data contrast with related case analysis to study the present situation of foreign investment by financial industry, existing problems and risks, and research the theoretical and practical significance of solving these problems for the development of Chinese financial industry.Based on the above consideration, this paper is divided into five parts to make discussion:The first part is introduction. The part introduces research background and research significance, and summarizes the domestic and foreign literature studies, in order to make comprehensive understanding about this problem. The paper puts forward the research contents, innovation and shortcomings, in order to make clear direction.The second part mainly introduces related concepts and the environment of financial industrial foreign investment, including the concepts of financial industry, foreign investment, foreign direct investment, and foreign indirect investment, and then summarizes the concept of financial industrial foreign investment. Based on domestic environment, the development of domestic capital market and foreign exchange market is good, and prosperity index of domestic economy continues to rise after the financial crisis. Domestic entrepreneurs and individual are confident about the development of national financial economy, and national legislation also supports foreign investment activities. Based on foreign environment, developed countries have not yet stepped out of the shadow of the crisis. Meanwhile, emerging market countries have get rid of the influence of the crisis and the whole development situation is good, which provide more space for the development of foreign investment by Chinese financial industry.The third part mainly analyzes the characteristics and present situation of foreign investment by financial industry. Taking China's performing the commitment of joining WTO and opening domestic financial market as starting point, this paper introduces the condition of foreign investment by Chinese financial industry from 2006 to 2010. Banking industry leads the investment agitation of foreign acquisitions, and both QDII and sovereign wealth funds actively step into overseas market.The fourth part mainly analyzes the problems faced by financial industrial foreign direct investment. Under the situation that most of Chinese enterprises go to overseas, development speed of foreign direct investment by financial industry lags behind the industry which needs financial services better.
