With the rapid economic development and living standard improvement, China's building industry is also thriving in a large scale, especially after entering the WTO, the competition in our domestic market has intensified. In order to speed up with the international building market, China-based contractors are starting to make their marks in internal building stage at lower labor cost and superior building construction technique, meanwhile bring infinite opportunities for the closely related aluminium door and window industry and architectural facade industry. China's building facade industry is positively participating and being involved with international facade industry and China is extending his business into the international market and contracting the international projects. However due to the comparatively week strength in the facade trade and short time of involving the international facade industry we are confronting tremendous difficulties toward the success in this high risk career brimming with various uncertainty and influencing factors. Risk management therefore has to be strengthened for the internationally contracted projects to save us in a position of never-defeated in international facade market.On the basis of reading mass references and documents and in the theory of international project risk management in conjunction with our domestic facade trade development history and based on current management mechanism to analyze the characteristics of international facade industry implemented with risk management in aspects of technological risks that exists in international facades industry, tender contract risk and other risks I would base my project risk analysis on the facade manufacturing enterprise, Shenyang Yuanda Aluminium Industry Engineering Co. Ltd, where I am working at and identify the risk that exists in international facade projects with the method" brain storm" and re identify the risk assessment value determined from "Delphi questionnaire", then analyze the risk using analytic hierarchy process to come to the conclusion that design level of technical profession, tender contract and overall operation and arrangement in the session of programme progressing, etc are the main factors impacting the international projects and take specific measures like to advance professional levels of the designers, reasonable programme arrangement, improve contract clause details and contract management, cultivate higher risk awareness, then supervise in three aspects of production efficiency, economic efficiency and client evaluation, good results have been achieved after 2 years of practice and observation in project risk management. Therefore project risk management in international facade industry is feasible.
