Postal Savings Bank of China Tai'an Branch set up in April 2008 and began to get involved in finance agency business according to the Requirements of Postal finance system reform. At present, finance agency business has become the most important part of the postal enterprise's revenue and the proportion showed an increasing trend year by year. The finance agency business income becomes the main earning source to support the development of Tai'an Postal Branch and the finance agency business is the pillars and rice bowl engineering of the postal enterprises.The finance agency business in Tai'an Post Branch is facing with the complex macro-environment and fierce market competition. On the level of macro-environment, there are many challenges. The People's Bank of China adjusts the deposit reserve ratio constantly and intensified the battle of financial market. The changes that occurred in the regulation situation of insurance market consolidate the market position of the postal insurance agency. The rapid development of Tai'an local Economy led to the continuous improvement of people's income, and that brings adequate sources of funding for finance agency business. Inflation changed the concept of residents' financial management and takes many opportunities for the development of the postal insurance agent, funds, bonds, RMB financial services. The competition intensifies in Tai'an financial markets. Almost all the commercial banks attach great importance to deposit balance and intermediary business. They promote the work of network transformation and transition vigorously and then upgrade hardware, improve service, develop functions and enhance competitiveness constantly.Tai'an Post Branch modifies its development strategies constantly faced with the complex environment and fierce competition and its finance agency business develops rapidly during three years. But there are still many problems and deficiencies:network structure is irrational and hardware is not advanced; deposit balance and network structure are disproportionate; business structure needs to be optimized; savings structure is unreasonable; mode of development needs to be transformed; basic management needs to be strengthened; practitioners are not high quality on financial and the configuration of account manager is insufficient. If these problems are not be settled, it will be the obstacle for the finance agency business in Tai'an Post Branch.On the basis of the above analysis, this paper proposes the Development Strategies of Finance Agency Business in Tai'an Post Bureau. The overall development of ideas can be summarized to be "adjust structure, expand scale, increase efficiency, and enhance risk-prevention". And it also contains changing the growth mode, reinforcing the foundation for development, and enhancing the management level and competitiveness and finally increasing the development speed of the finance agency business in the whole city. Specifically speaking, there are seven implementation measures:(1) structure optimization strategy. For the purpose of enhancing efficiency, we must expanse savings business, develop insurance business rapidly, develop financial services innovatively, improve the current ratio to achieve the balanced development of the business and structural optimization. There strategies contribute to solve the problems of irrational business structure, savings structure and customers' structure; (2) network transformation strategy. We will re-adjust the network layout, increase the network decoration, install more ATMs, improve the external image of the network and hardware and enhance the ability to draw the savings; (3) customer's potential-tapping strategy. We will adopt many methods to increase customer resources and establish VIP customer service system so as to build a solid basis for the transformation of development mode and the rapid growth of business; (4) professional business strategy. That requires us to focus our business, enhance the training of professional talents, improve the professional business level, practitioners'quality and standardize management business sense; (5) integration development strategy. We'll take the advantage of the network postal enterprises, integrate internal and external advantage resources, implement profession interaction and internal and external interaction, expand our business channels, and speed up the development of our business; (6) business innovation strategy. Traditional business will be changed by adopting information technology. From the different requirement of market and customers, we'll optimize and innovate the structure and functions of the postal finance products to enhance market competitiveness; (7) management improving strategy. Irregularities and capital risk problems that induced by weak basic management will be solved by strengthening basic management, supervision, inspection and problem rectification. Through the above strategies, finance agency business in Tai'an Post Bureau will develop sustainably and rapidly.
