A Study On The Restructuring And Reorganizing Of Automobile Axle Factory In Hunan

Our country is in an important era performing three paralleled reforms--economic transition, economic restructuring, and economic growth pattern change. After 20 years of adjustment and reform, the state-owned enterprises as the main force of the national economy, have accumulated a lot of experience and made significant achievements. But the state-owned enterprise reform is still a very exploratory and challenging work, and faces many deep-seated contradictions and problems at a crucial breakthrough stage.This thesis focuses on a case report of the state-owned enterprise restructuring program, the subject - Auto Axle Factory in Hunan Province, which currently is facing a dilemma: on the one hand, in accordance with the relevant State policy and the overall arrangements for Hunan SASAC, Hunan Province, Hunan Automobile Axle Factory is recently required to complete transitions of state-owned property, staff and management into the enterprise systems; on the other hand, for a state-owned enterprise with a big liability, a large number of employees and a heavy historical burden, it is particularly urgent and important to carry out a smooth restructuring work under the premise how to balance interest among the state, the employees and customers.The thesis has reviewed the state-owned enterprise reform process, analyzed the policy background, explained theory and policy basis for restructuring the Vehicle Axle Plant in Hunan; it has pointed out the necessity and urgency of restructuring and reorganizing and given the program of the foundation and condition, based on the investigation of Automotive Axle plant on the specific circumstances of Hunan and the analysis of restructuring form; it has also analyzed the nine theories and models of corporate reorganization and restructuring, compared the pros and cons of each program analysis and combined with specific conditions of Vehicle Axle Plant in Hunan, and therefore optimized the restructuring hybrid mode suitable to Vehicle Axle Plant in Hunan, with restructuring and reorganizing program described in detail.Finally, it has discussed about the implementation and protection of Hunan Vehicle Axle Plant restructuring and reorganizing program, as well as implications of these work.
