An Empirical Study Of The Financial Industry Cluster In Guangxi

Today is the era of economic modernization, and is also the era of information explosion. The structure of the world economy has changed, and the international service has transferred. From the perspective of geographic space, economic activity has shown an obvious trend of concentration. Cluster has become an important mode for the development of financial industry. More and more countries are accelerating the pace of building financial CBD in the world, and major cities in China are begining to build the financial CBD too. In Guangxi province, economy has healthy and rapid development and economic strength has been enhanced greatly In recent years. China-ASEAN Free Trade Area has launched, and the government promotes the financial system vigorously. In this context, it is necessary to discuss the current situation of financial agglomeration in Guangxi and to build the financial CBD for playing the financial advantages of radiation and promoting regional economic development. This paper analyzes the financial industry cluster in Guangxi, based on the financial industry cluster theory. Investigate the present situation of financial industry cluster in Guangxi from several aspects, such as the overall financial situation, the financial industry conditions and regional distribution of financial resources in Guangxi. by using factor analysis, evaluate the degree of financial concentration,determine Guangxi's position in the whole country and summarize the factors of the financial agglomeration. Analyze the radiation capacity of the financial agglomeration in Guangxi by Wilson model,further explaining configuration of financial resources in Guangxi. Conbined the empirical conclusions and the SWOT analysis of the financial agglomeration of Guangxi,We draw that the target model for the development of the financial industey cluster in Guangxi is to build Nanning financial CBD. With empirical results and the experiences learning from the leading financial CBD, we propose in the paper for the construction of Nanning financial CBD.
