Yunnan Province, The Industrial Structure Based On The Input-output Analysis Research

The industrial structure adjustment is the focal point of the work of Yunnan Province's Twelve Five Plan, and the core issue to achieve leap-forward development in Yunnan Province. In Yunnan, the weak strength of comprehensive economic, the extensive mode of development, the limited support of industry, the strong restriction of resources and environmental, so we should through the adjustment of industrial structure to change the economic structure, thus foster new industrial growth poin. As a modern analysis tool of quantitative economy in national economy system, input-output analysis plays an important role in the strategic adjustment of national economic structure and the study of macroeconomic management of our country. This paper uses the method of input-output analysis to study the industrial structure of Yunnan Province. The aim is in order to investigate the reasonable of the current industry structure in Yunnan Province, and provide decision-making basis for the optimization of industrial structure and industrial policy-making. So the study has a strong practical significance and reference value.The main content of this papy includes:First, it describes the basic theory of the industry, industry structure and input-output analysis. Then, it analyzes the status of the industrial structure in Yunnan Province, from three aspects of the development level, the growth rate, input and output status of three industries, the structure of three industries, and the industry process of Yunnan Province at this stage. Third, by the 2002 and 2007 input-output tables of Yunnan Province, it studys the associated effects between the various industries and defines the key industries to develop and leading industries of Yunnan Province in the current, throughing the investment structure analysis, market structure analysis, three-dimensional structure analysis and spillover effect analysis. Fourth, it analyzes the induced effects of consumption, investment and export to various industrial sectors of Yunnan Province, and the dependence degree of industry to the final demand items. The analysis shows that investment plays a leading role in stimulating economic growth of Yunnan Province. Finally, this papy summarizes some important conclusions and mades some policy recommendations for the status of industrial structure in Yunnan Province.In this paper, based on the analysis, we can draw several important conclusions:(1) the proportion of three industries output value has evolved into "two, three, one" pattern. The industrial structure is becoming more rational and continuous optimization. However, compared with the international standard mode, the industrial structure there is a certain bias. Because the proportion of primary industry is high and the proportion of secondary industry is low. In addition, the investment structure and the output structure of three industries is detached in Yunnan Province and the efficiency of industrial structure is low. (2) The high sensitivity coefficient and high influence coefficient of industry mainly concentrate in the second industry, such as, metal mining industry, chemical industry, metal smelting and rolling processing industry, general and special equipment manufacturing industry, transportation equipment manufacturing industry, and so on. These industries have strong relevance and strong driving force to economic development. So they should be supported and developed as key industries. (3) Investment has the maximum pulling power to the economic growth of Yunnan. However, consumption exerts relatively small influence to the economic growth. In addition, the consumption structure differences of rural residents and urban residents are very obvious and there is a large difference between urban and rural areas in Yunnan Province. The export mainly relys on traditional advantage industries in Yunnan Province, for example, metal smelting and rolling processing industry, food manufacturing and tobacco processing industries and agriculture. However, the export share of products of high-tech and high added value is low. This export structure needs to be improved.
