| China and US, the two worldwide largest economic bodies, are currently considered as two most powerful engines in new evolved market countries (BRICS) and in developed countries, irrespectively. The former presents an excessive 50% contribution to the increase of global economy, and the later occupies a portion of 23.63% in total amount of world GDP. Being the majority in promotion of world economy, remarkably, the trading & economic relationship between China & US affects the development not only in both countries but also all over the world. In the past 30 years since diplomatic relationship normalization, the trade in between has been developed rapidly, especially in recent years, this maintains an energetic trend, and the two nations have mutually become the very important trading & economic counterparts. Today, US take the 2nd place among China's trading partners, and vice versa. To US, China becomes the 1st import origination and the 3rd export market. The trading value for both two sides turns from USD 2.5 billion in 1979, the earlier of diplomatic relationship normalization, to USD 409 billion in 2009, a bloom more than 160 times seen in previous 30 years. Through a mutual effort, a good development is kept in aspects such as the bilateral trade, mutual investment, and economy-technology cooperation, etc. Meanwhile, the trade value grows at a high speed appropriately. A problem, however, on the trade unbalance seems to be distinct and much worse day by day. The bigger the bilateral trade thrives, the more friction in Sino-US trade is brought about. In 2009, China was committed to Trade Relief set forth by US up to 23 cases, the value claimed exceeded USD 7.2 billion, and it took a part at 57% in total amount. US now become the biggest part to hold the most value proclaimed in trade conflicts with China. The greatest booming out in Sino-US trade is the Act on Exclusive Protection for Tires Originated from China. This is the first time a present US President, i.e. Mr. Obama to sign such a code applying protective procedures to expel tires made in China, also, a major protection unseen before special to goods imported from China till now. Fortunately, the researcher attained his goal. First of all in this report, I started with a general introduction both to the theoretical basis and to the current achievements domestic or foreign with their applications related to Sino-US trade quarrels, in order to form the theoretical foundation; Secondly, an analysis is unfolded on this problem in the history, the present, and the future, connected with some key points & hotspots; Thirdly, an approach to the factors causing the problem is detected in depth; And then, an attempt to build an alert mechanism to the poisonous conditions probably occurred in Sino-US trade is discussed thoroughly; At last, the papers is concluded by a prospective view to the development in Sino-US economic & trading relationship. |
