In modern society, the competition among enterprises is fierce, how to create and maintain competitive advantage, become an important topic of each enterprise's survival and development. While, an enterprise to maintain a competitive advantage, there must be a fit, strong and effective performance management system for enterprise development, effective integration of enterprise personnel, forces and resources, to unified collaboration to protect the enterprise's overall strategy, objectives, vision, enabling enterprises to flourish in the long run. Value chain theory of advanced thinking in the introduction of a corporate performance management, and establish a performance management system based on Value chain theory, can effectively resolve all the shortcomings and drawbacks of traditional performance management, is a worthy subject of study.This paper taking L private company as an example, through the investigation of L's existing performance management system, analysis of its shortcomings, the use of value chain theory and the theory of performance management, optimized for its performance management system and then design, makes L company perfect inner management, improve operational efficiencies, achieve better development.
