State-owned enterprises are the pillars of our national economy.lt takes charge of important missions to provide the material basis for building a harmonious society.And work performance is one focus of the state-owned enterprises management.With the development of modern enterprise theory research and application of psychology theory in the field of management,the managers are aware of employees.They are the key factor to improve work performance. So the focus of research turned to employee management.In order to improve work performance, enterprise theories start to pay attention to employees' psychology. And the psychological boundary of employees becomes the new perspective to research the problems in management.From the psychological boundary,the empirical research was suitable in this paper the paper chose the empirical method to explore internal relationships of the psychological boundary of employees and work performance.Firstly,the paper reviewed the literature on the theories related to psychological boundaries of employees and work performance,which provided a theory basis for solving performance problems in state-owned enterprises.Based on the literature review,the paper set up a theoretic model and hypothesis.The theoretic model includes several variables such personality factor,organizational environment,management system,contextual performance and task performance.Secondly,in the course of the study,the paper used a questionnaire survey to collect relevant data of employees in state-owned enterprises and applied statistical software such as SPSS16.0 for data analysis.Then,the paper used Analysis of Variance, Correlation Analysis and Regression Analysis to analyze the relationship of the variables and test how the psychological boundary of employees functions to work performance.Thirdly.from the test of the theoretic model and hypothesis.the result showed that the psychological boundary of employees in state-owned enterprises and work performance had a significant impact,and the personality factor in the construction of three-factor impacted on work performance and its two-factor the most significantly.But the organizational environment factor and management system factor impacted on work performance and its contextual performance not significantly.and these two factors had a negative impact on task performance.This explained that state-owned enterprises management should be concerned about employees.But the other two factors of impacting work performance are a good work environment and reasonable management rules.Finally,on the basis of the former research result.the paper paid attention to the most important factor of the human in the productive power.The paper combined ideological and political education of state-owned enterprises impacting on the psychological boundary of employees,building atmosphere of performance culture and structuring performance management rules to improve work performance of enterprises.In addition.the paper made a summarized in the research, proposed advices and put forward the idea of the future.The paper provided a new perspective for managers of state-owned enterprises to solve problems in the work performance and provided the foundation of quantitative research for the research of the ideological and political education field.In enterprises management,humanity is the most important factor for the humans initiative.And they decide the work performance outcome.The problem:How to change employees' behaviour requires managers to pay attention to the psychological boundary of employees and applications of psychology theory in the field of management which helps explaining and predicting employees' performance better.
