The Comparison Of Innovation Ability Of Three Megalopolises In China

In the period of"knowledge economy",innovation has become the essential mean to deal with competition and challenges ; in the context of economic globalization and regional integration,as a growth pole of nation and region, megalopolis plays a very important role in the construction of national innovation system. The dissertation based on the theories of regional innovation system and innovation ability of megalopolis, involves the following main contents:Firstly,the innovation system model of megalopolis and index system of evaluation is brought forward,through in-depth analysis on the regional innovation system and innovation ability of megalopolis,city cluster and economic regions.Secondly, according to relative data ,the innovation ability of three main megalopolises in China is compared and evaluated. Under factor analysis and correlation analysis,key factors,which effect the innovation ability of megalopolis have been found.They are information acquisition,technical level,urbanization level ,foreign direct investment,and so on..After that, this dissertation analyses and evaluates the urban innovation ability of three megalopolises using principal component analysis and SPSS17.Then,according to cluster analysis, the distribution structures and grade of urban innovation ability of cities in three megalopolises are analysed and compared.Finally,using the gravity mode,the author describes and compares the spatial relations of urban innovation ability in three megalopolises, according to the innovation gravity between core citiess and each of other cities in three megalopolises.
