The Study On Sustainability Development Of Bayberry Characteristic Agriculture In Xianju

Characteristic agriculture was proposed and developed on the condition that agriculture adapted to the market disiplines and resources. Its main purpose is to adjust national agriculture layout, reduce the regional development gap and realize common prosperity. Many places have established characteristic agriculture patterns according to its resources endowment, and it effectively promotes agricultural economic growth and increases farmer's income. But characteristic agriculture is at the primary stage, it's necessary to research the sustainable development of characteristic agriculture.Bayberry is the characteristic fruit of Zhejiang province, the industry of bayberry has developped initially. Xianju country is one of the most typical countries which has make great progress on bayberry characteristic agriculture's development. This paper introduces the development status of bayberry industry in Xianju, determines the characteristic agriculture of bayberry in Xianju basing on the features of characteristic agriculture and the analysis of comparative advantage. Then constructs the evaluation system of sustainability development for bayberry characteristic agriculture, which including the resource system, economic system, social system and ecological system, a total of 24 index corresponding to the system. At last, the paper makes an evalutation to the sustainability of the beyberry characteristic agriculture in Xianju through the index system, using AHP and Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The evaluating results are as follows: the sustainability of bayberry characteristic agriculture in Xianju is at a medium level of sustainability development, in which resource system is at a higher level of sustainability development, economic system and environmental system are at medium level, social system is at a lower level.Then the paper makes a summary and discussion of this research ,recommendations are proposed as follows for the sustainable development of bayberry characteristic agriculture in Xianju: (1) Increasing capital investment, ensure the infrastructure construction is complete. (2) Strengthening the market and information system construction, make sure that the sales are unblocked. (3)Speeding up the progress of scientific research, make sure that the base of beyberry industry is strong. (4)Completing the construction of specialized cooperative, improve the organizational level of baberry production. (5)Strengthening the government's functions, which are guidance and support, promote bayberry industry's development.At last,the paper point out the disadvantages of the paper, then indicates the future discussion of the research.
