Logistics Network Of Rice Industry In Hunan Province Based On Supply Chain

With the project of logistics modulation and revitalization brought into the national strategic development framework, the research on agricultural product supply chain and the related logistics network has become a hot point home and abroad nowadays. It is not only the highest level of logistics system, but also the frontier development of modern logistics to study integrating logistics network from the perspective of supply chain. So, based on the regional logistics network construction and logistics network integration under the supply chain and combined with the characteristics of rice logistics, this paper explored the Hunan logistics network planning of rice.First, combined with relevant references, from the perspective of supply chain and supply chain management theory, the thesis presents a literature review on rice logistics in China, and the author learns that the researches which aims at the rice logistics are quite few both abroad and home. Most of the studies just apply mechanically to the food or agricultural research mode. As to Hunan, a huge rice production province, the research of regional rice logistics also stay in the primary level of analyzing the existing condition and policy recommendations.Second, by analyzing the current situation of the rice logistics and its network in Hunan province, it is concluded that the characteristics of rice logistics, which mainly manifest in the three characteristics—biochemistry, accretive of the process and the specificity of the direction. Besides, four operation modes on the rice logistics in Hunan province have been summarized, and the problem in logistics development scale, infrastructure and industrialization have been pointed out.Third, this paper compares the advantage and disadvantage of the characteristics of traditional logistics network planning and the planning based on supply chain management of logistics network, sets the principle, goals and framework of Hunan rice logistics network planning based on the perspective of supply chain, and summarizes the general procedure of planning in rice logistics network, based on which, the model of logistics network of Hunan rice from the perspective of supply chain was established and the author also points out the importance and meaning of the logistics network node layout in the rice logistics network planning.Finally, Hunan rice logistics network provides technical support for regional rice circulation in cities between logistics nodes, and lays a fundamental platform to speed up the development of industrial clusters for rice processing and circulation. Reasonable plan on the function, level and development strategies of logistics network nodes of Hunan rice is of great practical significance to the overall situation. By unifying the actual situation of 14 cities in Hunan, with the principal component analysis method, the author divides these cities into four levels of network nodes. The thesis also sets up an index system and evaluation principles for rice logistics network node planning. According to the functional factors at different logistics network nodes, and in combination with their industry characteristics, traffic conditions and regional advantage, the author programs the logistics development strategy of chief network nodes, and puts forward related suggestions from policy level.
