In recent years, along with the development of our economic and urbanization, the number of large-scale projects even super large-scale projects keep increasing annually. More and more these kinds of projects are characterized by inter-regional, multi-level, and multi-project, such as West-East natural gas transmission project, construction projects of Beijing Olympic stadiums and Shanghai World Expo buildings and so on. Large number of investment, long construction period, extensive social influence are general characteristics of these projects, and their failure will cause great losses to nation and project organizations. Management of multi-project based large-scale projects means comprehensive coordination and management of sub-projects to achieve objectives of the whole project.Some experts pointed out that the nature of project management is risk management, the process of project management is the process of risk control. Comparing with single project management, multi-project based large-scale project management will face more uncertainties and risks, so the risk management is more important. Because the development time of risk management in our country is relatively short, theoretical and applied research of this field is imperfect, there are a lot of research blank field to fill.This paper analyzes the characteristics of multi-project based large-scale project, using theories and knowledge of multi-project management, large-scale project management and risk management, using documentation research method, expert interview method, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, analytic hierarchy process and other related method, from the angels of risk identification, risk evaluation, risk response and risk monitoring to discuss the whole risk management process of multi-project based large-scale project. Identifying and evaluating risk factors, raising effective methods of risk response and monitoring, then building systematic structure of risk management for multi-project based large-scale project. Finally, the paper carries research on the whole risk management process of Taizhou Changjiang River Bridge construction project, then summarizes weak points of the research results. |
