| In the era of knowledge economy, technological innovation is necessary for the development of new-style China manufacturing. The enterprise technology center(ETC) is an important organizational form for the manufacturing enterprises to conduct technological innovation activities, technology innovation efficiency(TIE) directly affect enterprises' TIE. However, the study on the TIE of China manufacturing ETC seems rather insufficiently. Hence, it has the great practical and theoretical significance to study the TIE of China manufacturing ETC.On the basis of some predecessors' related research on TIE and factor analysis method(FAM), the evaluation model to measure the TIE of China manufacturing ETC is developed from the view of input and output. Combined with ETC's characteristic, six basic indicators are chosen, involving: staff number of ETC, technological activity funds expenditure, R&D equipments' original value, the number of completed technological innovation projects and accepted patents of invention application and new product profit. And then output indicators are divided by the corresponding input indicators to measure key elements' output efficiency of input. Afterward evaluation index system is established, including: the average number of completed technological innovation project per person, the average number of accepted patent of invention application per person, the average new product profit per person, funds' project efficiency, funds' patent efficiency, funds'economy efficiency, equipments' project efficiency. This evaluation model is employed to measure manufacturing industry ETC's TIE of Hubei as an example. Finally the suggestions on how to improve manufacturing industry ETC's TIE have been given based on technological innovation strategy formulation, improve the government's institutional arrangements, enhance the level of University-Industry collaboration construction. |
