With the background of lack of compensation management consciousness and chaos of compensation system in our private enterprise, this paper describes the process how HL company trying to adapted to the new development, by establish compensation management institution and setting up a new compensation system project, to improve company's core competence and sustainable developing ability, to establish a preliminary modern enterprise management system.The improvement of compensation system is the important part of company HL's internal reform. In the first part of this paper is the brief introduction to the elementary compensation management theories, analyzed the problems and roots existing in the present compensation system, and meanwhile indicated the necessity of compensation system design.Then, aiming at these existing problems in conjunction with satisfaction survey for compensation in internal of HL and the collection for standard market compensation, HL company redesigned its compensation system which based on performance pay, and thus to enable it more strategic, equitable and incentive. And implementing new compensation system preliminary has encourage the staffs with enthusiasm and initiatively.At last, paper further analyzed potential problem in the process of new compensation system, and the feasible solutions in the future were proposed.
