Study On The Impact Of Leadership Of Coal Mine Enterprises To The Safety Culture

Safety culture in coal mine enterprises is an important part of safety management. At present, the safety situation in coal mine is rather complicated in my nation. What is the factors influencing the system safety culture in coal mine enterprises, how to control accidents, the problem about safety management is the most important issue to be solved. Establishment of coal mine safety culture is an important method to solve this problem. But establishing and implementing the system of coal mine safety culture are affected by the leadership,the executive power of mid-level managers,social factors ,national laws and so on.This thesis defines the essence of safety culture system in coal mining enterprises based on the analysis of the logical connection between some relevant concepts, which are leadership and safety culture, safety culture and the corporate culture, corporate culture and organizational culture, safety culture and safety management. The staff from senior decision-makers to level employees rule out potential safety problems, reduce casualties with their best abilities, improve their safety awareness through constant education and incentive rewards, improve the behavior of organizations and individuals gradually, bring lasting impacts to organizations and individuals and turn into a kind of safety values at last. This is called safety culture in coal mine enterprises. Coal mine safety culture has been molded by many factors, this paper studies leadership on safety culture, and verifies the affecting mechanism with the example of all the coal mines subordinated Datong Coal Mine Group.Firstly, this paper carries out the exploratory factor analysis, the correlation analysis, the descriptive statistical analysis, the single factor analysis of variance and the t-test about the first sample which contains 160 questionnaires using Spss17.0 software, and carries out the confirmatory factor analysis and the structural equation modeling about the second sample which contains 221 questionnaires using Amos7.0 software based on the research of literature and other related theories. The analysis shows: all levels of leadership have a significant correlation with all respects of safety culture, and the effect is significant.Based on the analysis of data, this paper studies case with one coal mine which belongs to Datong Coal Mine Group as an example , the conclusion validate the relationship between variables again and provide an empirical basis.
