Research On The Assessment Of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Risk And Its Empirical Analysis

In the increasingly competitive market, the competition which used to be between different enterprises has risen to be at the level of the whole supply chain. The effective implementation of the supply chain management will significantly lower enterprise warehouses cost and distribution cost and bring higher returns to the enterprise. However, the complexity of supply chain and the variety of its internal and external environment makes it easy to be affected by all kinds of risk factors. Some enterprises may suffer huge losses and even it may lead to the collapse of the entire supply chain. Therefore, identification and evaluation of the existing risk factors in the supply chain is particularly important which can help enterprises control risk effectively, avoid the risk events and enhance the stability of the supply chain.This paper is based on the supply chain which takes the pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprise as the core. Firstly, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry, expounds the structure of the pharmaceutical supply chain and analyzes the status of each node organization. Secondly, this paper identifies the pharmaceutical supply chain risk factors, put forwards the quantitative equation of each risk index and builds the pharmaceutical supply chain risk assessment index system according to the supply chain procedure including supply stage, production stage, delivery stage and distribution stage. Thirdly, this paper structures the pharmaceutical supply chain risk comprehensive assessment model based on rough set theory and gray whitenization weight function as the result of the existing fuzziness and grayness. Finally, this paper makes an empirical study through the investigation and survey on a pharmaceutical enterprise based on the given risk index system and assessment model: identify and evaluate the supply chain risk; analyze the risk evaluation result.This paper makes a research on a pharmaceutical supply chain risk assessment problem, and builds a risk comprehensive fuzzy assessment framework based on quantitative risk index, which will promote the development of the pharmaceutical supply chain management.
