A Study On Strategic Management Pattern Of State-owned Metallurgical Groups Based On Promoting Core Competence

Any enterprise can't develop without strategic management. It had been an important parts of enterprises'competition strategies that creating competition advantages by strategic management, especially today enterprises are actively dealing with global financial crisis. The strategic management will certainly generate new change in the fields of management idea, objective and pattern. It also provides powerful strategic support to keep powerful vitality and competiveness, and to realize visions and objects.The influence of financial crisis on metallurgy industry, steel tube industry and Tianjin Pipe (Group) Co had been studied by systematically studied strategic management theory, utilized PEST analysis, five competitiveness model and SWOT model, and combined with the practice in TPCO. And the working object of promoting competitiveness and general requirement of strategic development for TPCO were proposed. The thinking to establish competition advantage of state-owned groups had been discussed. The strategic management pattern of TPCO was mainly analyzed which core was expanding marketing places to increase market share in external and strengthening lean and R&D management to increase quality inside. Finally the strategic management thinking based on wholly increasing competitiveness of TPCO was proposed.The research results have important reference value for state-owned groups of china to increase strategic management level. They also help TPCO to properly carry through strategic management and promote whole competitiveness and sustainable development capability.
