Energy development is an important component of national strategy, especially, with the introduction of the concept of sustainable development, the degree of difference of energy development strategy increases gradually. To say it qualitatively, from the economic strategic point of view, on one hand, fossil fuels, whether past or future, are the backbone energy, but it should be noted that fossil fuels also causes a great environment pollution, and drags down economic growth, on the other hand, clearer energy is destined to play an important role in sustainable development because of "clean and efficient" features.Qualitative analysis is not enough to draw firm conclusions, it is also needed to know more specific information, such as the net utility of fossil energy because of existence of positive and negative influence; and although the prospects are good, has clearer energy been affected China's economy significantly? Solving these problems contribute to the development of energy strategy. In order to answer these questions, we need quantitative analysis. The thesis divides the energy into two types:fossil energy and clearer energy, adopts econometric methods to analyze the relationship among energy, environment and economic development. On the fossil energy hand, estimated result of panel data is: regional environment and economy curve is inverted U-shaped in 2004-2009. Then, we use a constrained economic growth model and VAR method to estimate dynamic effect of energy, environmental, and economic. The result shows that the energy's impact on the economy is positive, and environmental pollution's impact on the economy is negative. On the clearer energy hand, using the VAR and VEC to estimate the relationship between clearer energy and economic, finding that there are not only long-run equilibrium but also short-term fluctuations in the relationship between them. Clearer energy had a significant effect on economic development, and after "Renewable Energy Law" released in 2005, the clearer energy's influence on the economy improved greatly.
