As information and scientific technology has developed and generalized since the 21st century, the environment of the corporations has changed as well. The competition environment becomes worse gradually and the corporations competitive advantage dependent on the human resource. At the same time the turnover of the human resource is become a serious problem for the management. Both performance and reputation will be negatively affected by the high turnover rate, so this problem draws more and more attention by not only managers but the researchers as well.In the first place, the paper analyzes the explanative power of the traditional variables. In the second place, the adjustment relationships of the Job Embeddedness between traditional variables and the turnover trend are examined through three hierarchical structures. As an adjustment factor, Job Embeddedness'effects between traditional variables and turnover trend are investigated in this paper. In addition, the effects of both on-the-job embeddedness and off-the-job embeddedness between traditional variables and turnover trend are examined respectively. The effects six dimensions of the Job Embeddedness between traditional variables and the turnover trend are studied as well. This paper focuses on the factors that may influence the turnover rate, based on the social capital theory. In the previous examinations, scholars usually applied such questionnaires as Job Satisfaction and Organization Commitment to explain the turnover phenomena. As the research goes more and more sophisticated, however, these traditional methods explanative power is considered not that strong as expected. Mitchell (2001) proposed a creative concept named Job Embeddedness, which generated significant findings in turnover rate using factors not directly related to jobs. Combining this convincing method and Chinese corporations'characteristics, this research studies the adjustment effects of the Job Embeddedness among the traditional variables. The methods of this paper include questionnaire collection, interviews, empirical examination, quantitative analysis, hypothesis test, and results discussion. The results of the effects of Job Embeddedness between traditional variables and turnover trend generated from the different study subjects and empirical examination.
