In the process of forming a city, economic factors at the edge of the city gathered at the centre of urban, providing with raw materials, energy and manpower. The development of the urban economy was promoted. Meanwhile, some economic factors spread from the city center to the edge region with capital, technology and management, which supported the development of the edge region. This was the bond of macroeconomic between the urban and its edge region. To a specific industry(such as the construction industry or real estate), is there also such a bond among different cities? If there is,to find and effectively use these objective law of the industry to promote the coordinated,rapid and sound development of regional economic is a researchable topic.First, this paper based on the classical theories about region development in the western economics---geographical division theory and non-balanced regional development theory. It Selected housing construction area, construction enterprise output and construction employment of each city for indicators to weigh the development level of construction industry of PRD, Similarly, on the analysis of the development of real estate, It Selected real estate development investment, commodity housing sales area and real estate industry production value for index.And it used the centre functions intensity model to class the development of construction industry and real estate industry of the nine cities:For both industries, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are the first class central city, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan are the second class central city. And Huizhou is also second class central city for real estate industry. All of other cities are the third class central city.Then, according to the mechanism of the economic relevance,this paper used the extent of industry linkage model to calculate the construction industry linkage and real estate industry linkage anong the cities in PRD. The results showed the common laws for both industries as follows:The first class cities jointly promote the construction industry and the real estate industry of the second and the third class cities. And this two industries are closely linked between the three second class cities.The paper also found the following different laws:For construction industry, Guangzhou played a greater leading role to pull the development of the construction industry in Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan,Huizhou and Zhaoqing,but Shenzhen did better in Zhuhai and Jiangmen. Among all level cities, the second class city Foshan interacted with the first class cities closely,and the third class city Zhuhai interacted with the second class cities closely, the other third class cities linked with other cities in the construction industry to the same extent.For the real estate industry.Guangzhou played a greater leading role to pull the development of the construction industry in Foshan, Zhuhai and Zhaoqing.but Shenzhen did better in Dongguan and Huizhou, Zhongshan and Jiangmen. Among all level cities, the second class citiy Foshan interacted with the second class cities Dongguan and Zhongshan closely.Besides the second class cities Foshan and Dongguan interacted with the first class cities closely,and they promoted Huizhou One-way obviously.Then the third class city Zhuhai interacted with the second class citiy Zhongshan closely, the other third class cities linked with other cities in the construction industry to the same extent.Finally, based on regional cooperation theory, this paper discussed the necessity and practicability of coordinating development of regional industry, and it listed on the the major factors which impact on coordinating development of industry.such as the similar level of economic capabilities,and connected infrastructure, similar social,cultural environment and policies. Then this paper evaluated these factors, and concluded that it is greatly potential to achieve the coordinated development of the construction industry and real estate industry in PRD. Only policy support of all these elements can do better.It is provided by the following suggestions:the enterprises insisting on being as the main power to intertact industries in areas, and attaching importance to the system construction, formation of the regional coordination mechanism, to further improve regional transportation and communication network, we hope that the construction industry and real estate industry in PR get better and faster development in future.
