With the diversity and broadband demands of"Push to Talk"services, the existing2nd generation trunking communication technology has been difficult to meet the needsof users. Trunking communication technology is urgent to evolve into the nextgeneration. Under this backgroud, cdma2000-based trunking communicationtechnology has emerged. It carries many advantages of cdma2000, can provide a widerange of service types, also it accords the trend of modern trunking communication, thatis,"common operating". These will make cdma2000-based trunking system become themost promising technology for the next generation.Different from traditional trunking system, cdma2000-based technology holds theinherent properties of both CDMA and trunking system, it is necessary that the powercontrol and capacity of it be studied. The paper is based on the protocols and technologyrealization, aiming at the shortage of power control mechanism in the existingtechnology, corresponding improvement methods are put forward and verified bysimulation. In addition, a system-level simulation platform is built. The capacity of theexisting cdma2000-based trunking system is studied through theoretical analysis andsimulation. The related simulation data and conclusions will help the optimization andimprovement of the system in the future to some extend. |
