As an important branch of software engineering, requirements engineering focuses onthe study of the software system participants' expectations and requirements, which would bedocumented, and then the documents will become the basis and criterion for the subsequentdevelopment.In the software development, the methods of localization and divide and rule getattentions and applied. By adopting this idea viewpoints requirement engineering methodreifies these methods to the requirements engineering field.The development of oilfield information management System (MIS, ManagementInformation System) involves many stakeholders, and for they have respective scope of workand responsibilities so they have their own knowledge and experience and they wouldpropose different requirements from various perspectives. Moreover, the large amout ofoilfield data and functional instability could reduce the efficiency of system development.In order to completely obtain all the information of different stakeholders, control thetime-varying requirements, prevent missing important information, reduce the difficulties ofcapturing and analyzing requirements, and better devlope the MIS system, we can utilizeviewpoints requirement engineering method, which applies viewpoints to get and organize allkinds of requirements.This paper mainly studies the content as follows:Firstly, on the basis of a more complete analysis and summary of various viewpointsrequirement engineering methods, this paper puts forward the viewpoints requirementdescription method for the oilfield MIS system. Towards the problems that the stakeholders inthe oilfield MIS system are so many and that the division of labor is not clear, it proposes thelayered viewpoint division method. By adding the time slot, the structure of viewpointtemplate is improved. As an important part of viewpoint template, the requirementidentification effectively reduces the complexity of requirements analysis. This method candescribe the changes of requirements in detail.Secondly, on the improved viewpoint template, the concept of epistemic logic isintroduced, U time operator is added, the Kripke model with time operator is improved, andthe improved Kripke model can analyze the viewpoints requirements recorded by viewpointtemplates. Then we can solve conflicts between requirements from different sources, andrecord the changes of requirements. Finally, with the combination of the above research, this paper applies them to therequirement analysis in the oilfield MIS system, and proposes requirement description methodfor the standardization of requirement documents. By the comparison of preliminaryrequirement documents and viewpoint templates' requirement documents, we can verify thefeasibility and effectiveness of its application.
