Because of the growing demand for the electrical energy and the expansion on the scope of power supply, the remote terminal unit still use the traditional communicate technology which is serial communication. It has the defect of low efficiency, laying range restricted and inflexible in the means of communication.With the rapid development and wide application of computer, embedded technology and wireless communications, it makes a research on a design of remote power acquisition system which based on the wireless network in the dissertation. It consists of data acquisition module, Wireless communication module, relay and server receiving terminal. Data acquisition terminal, it is mainly responsible for collecting the energy consumption data of meter and sending the data to the relay through the wireless module. Relay responsible for sending the data to the server to display and analyze by wireless module, the data is received from acquisition terminal. In this article, it uses STC90C58AD type of single chip microcomputer for the hardware of data acquisition. Because it has the capacity of29KB E2PROM, which is sufficient to meet the data storage and can save the data of energy consumption and scheduling in the case of power outages. And we added signal amplification and deburring processing circuit before the signal acquisition. It guarantees the reliability of data signal. In the part of wireless module, it uses the JTT-433UDI type of embedded micro-power wireless digital signal transmission module. In the relay, it sends the data with the communication protocol which is formulated in accordance with the actual situation. It ensures the stability of data communications. As it uses wireless communication mode, making the system can apply to more great scope and eliminating the trouble of laying lines. In the sever part, it is designed by VC6.0. Thus it'll display the data directly. At last, these formed the entire data transmission system and achieved the design of power data transmission system based on the network RTU. So it can monitor the remote energy consumption data. We deeply studied the Network RTU data transmission system through the instance of a wireless meter reading. At the end of the design, a test of the various components of the system and the entire network is done. With the analysis of the test results, the existing problems of the system are summarized and the future direction of work is proposed.
