With the development of multimode mobile terminal and cooperative communication,terminal cooperation communication has attracted an increasing number of scholars and operators.As one of important technologies of next-generation communication,terminal cooperation communication technology has great significance in reducing energy consumption and improving network throughput.In this paper,relay selection and transmission mode selection have been studied to improve energy efficiency.Most of relay selection scheme ignore user relationship which impact on cooperation transmission,the system energy consumption reduction less.In response to this circumstance,we propose the relay selection scheme considering the user relationship to minimize energy consumption in two-hop decoding forwarding protocol model.We compare the relay selection scheme with or without the consideration of user relationship.The numerical results demonstrate that in aspect of the reduction system energy consumption,with the increasing distance from the source terminal to the base station or the increasing path loss exponent,the relay selection scheme that considers user relationship is superior to the relay selection scheme that ignores user relationship.The relay selection scheme that considers user relationship slows down the growth rate of energy consumption.We introduce the optimal transmission mode selection strategy by comparing the power gain of the channel as well as the expression of the energy consumption of the direct transmission mode and the cooperative transmission mode.By comparing the energy consumption of direct transmission with cooperative transmission under different node distance and interrupt probability constraint,we can be concluded that the source terminal select direct transmission mode when the source terminal is close to the base station or the interrupt probability constraint is high.In other cases,source terminal select cooperative transmission mode.
