In connection with the current situation of the generally poor application of DCripple test system and the weak automation, the paper designs and develops a new DCripple test system with the efforts of analyzing the specific requests of the ripple test andthe effect to different electrical apparatus. The new system achieves a test scheme basedon a micro-control skill. The research data needed for the system analysis is gained withthe implement of the scheme. Through the post-treatment of the data, the paper makesclear of the presence situation of the ripple voltage, and then achieves the test andanalysis to the ripple signal.The paper does the following four specific procedures:1. Analyze the specificrequests and test theory of the system, and then design the overall scheme for the rippletest system;2. Design the functions which can be achieved by each functional moduleand also the working theory for the hardware circuit;3. Put forward an integral softwaredesigning process in accordance with the actual need of the users, and develop a set ofmanagement software made for the system which can achieve the designated functionsof data such as the real-time display, storage and inquiry;4. Elaborate the definiteprocess of the post-treatment of data, have a deeper knowledge of the ripple voltagethrough the reduction and analysis of the experiment data, and then discuss the effectivemethods to restraint the ripple voltage.The paper uses the idea of the layer and module blending into a lot of pivotalinformation skills such as gathering, analyzing and treating the data. It designs apractical DC ripple test system by using a SCM micro-control skill. The new system canautomatically give a systematical and real-time record and storage to the testedelectrical ripple and also can analyze the experiment data using the MATLAB whichcan achieve the automation and intelligence of the DC ripple voltage test.
