The scientific literatures preserve research ideas and methods in their fields, record the development history of the subject, and also provide theoretical basis and research methods for all kinds of subjects, so they benefit for sharing and the heritage of knowledge. Suffered from the sharp increase in the number of literatures, it has been more difficult to collect, manage and make use of literatures. For all these reasons, this article attempts to use information visualization techniques into the subject fields, to fully explore the information about literature data, making it easy for researchers to understand subject research fields and etc.Information visualization is an interactive processing, converting information to graphic view, and the first step is to access the data source."Chinese Knowledge Network" is known as one of the largest database of journal articles, covers many journals including natural sciences, engineering, agriculture, philosophy, medicine. humanities and social sciences. But having no access to its data source, we have to design a crawler for getting the data.Another important task of the information visualization is the visual presentation of the information. It refers to many technologies, for example, image processing technology, interactive technology and distribution algorithm. JUNG framework is an open-source library based on the JAVA language, has been widely used in visualization application. This paper inherits the father classes and implements interfaces of JUNG to achieve the goal to layout, render the scientific literature information.In this paper, we will focus on the following aspects:to research the situation of the subject fields and the visualization of subject fields; to explore the background of information visualization, its theoretical basis and distribution algorithm, particularly, to study visualization development tools; to design and develop visualization software and use it in "Educational Technology" subject to verify its functionality.
