With the rapid development of aerospace technology and computer technology, geographic information data acquisition has changed from the way of papery maps data to the way of remote sensing data, now this is the main method. Due to the remote sensing data contain widespread, short observation period, all-weather characteristics, while traditional method is not incomparable. It is favored by the vast number of earth science researchers. This is remote sensing data become modern geographic information system of the main data sources of the key causes. Nowadays many of the world's developed countries have launched many earth observation satellites, and on the earth for long time observation, which uninterrupted to produce data which are related with the earth's atmosphere, water, land of scientific data. The data have been widely used in the field of social each for the world's climate changing, farming, geological mineral, fresh water and other natural resources, which provide the theoretical basis for research. With the passage of time, many satellites had collected a large number of earth observation scientific data, in order to reduce unnecessary repeat collection, reasonable use of resources, make these data which come from different countries, different satellite scientific data can be shared, We must establish the standardization of remote sensing data information service system, and t is also imperative, which can make from different satellites, different formats of scientific data by the reasonable classification and storage, and through the establishment of standard geographic information metadata document, the user can in the mass of data in the quick and convenient to find are interested in data set.Combining with "Generation&Applications of Global Products of Essential Land Variables" which is a key Project of Earth Observation and Navigation Field of the State Program for High-Tech Research and Development (863Program) collection of10global satellite remote sensing data as data sources, firstly I am familiar with this data, and professionally classify science data which come from different satellites of remote sensing. And according to ISO19115international metadata standard I had finished metadata's extraction work, and had obtained standard XML format files, secondly build a multi-source remote sensing satellite-data metadata database, thirdly combining with OPeNDAP (Open-source Project for a Network Data Access Protocol-Open source Network Data Protocol) agreement, build the multi-source of the earth observation remote sensing data information shared service platform, lastly provided information services of multi-source remote sensing science data by the way of Web.Paper is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is the introduction of the paper, introduces research background for the study, and the development and research status of remote sensing data information service at home and abroad. It briefly describes the main contents, research significance of the paper and technical route for the study. The second chapter presents the relevant technology of the remote sensing data information service system, which includes XML technology, Web related technologies, and OPeNDAP protocol content related technology. The third chapter first introduced the current domestic and international five geographical metadata standards, based on this ISO19115metadata standard formulated the global multi-source remote sensing data information service system's metadata standard, and used CatMDEdit metadata management software to extract remote sensing data source that we had set the metadata information, and finally form the standard XML file, for the next step of the database construction and system service. According to the system's construction goal and requirements for multi-source remote sensing data information system, the fourth chapter accomplished the whole structure design, database design, and the metadata logic module design. On the basis of the detailed design of the system, the fifth chapter realized the detail code of the system, which include showing function of the multi-source remote sensing satellite basic information platform based on Web, the metadata search function, multi-source remote sensing data access function based on the OPeNDAP protocol, and then realized all function modules of the system. After preliminary construction of the system, The sixth chapter briefly summarizes the multi-source remote sensing data global information service system of its application to the user, and describes the application range of the system and the applied objects etc.The seventh chapter is the conclusion, summarized the work of research, including the innovation points and the deficiency, and further put forward the further spread of the work.Figure [19] table [6] reference [35]...
