With the development of computer technology, product designing turns gradually to3D solid modeling design from the traditional graphic design. Traditional wood line processing rely on hand carved processing.Handmade product is fine and large arbitrariness, but it cannot meet market demand in styles and yield. This paper mainly discusses how to quickly design wood model, and then guide the machine processing directly.After analysis, first, module of the system structure is divided as follows:wood baseline model design, the pattern model of the wood line design and the baseline model and pattern model of merge modules. To make simple and style diversification, the parameterization, intelligent design ideas throughout the design process. In the wood baseline design process for many design software can not be a fast variety of design and the closed curve, this paper adopts a straight line to connect the spline curve, arc, line and so on, final connect the first and the last point into closed curve. Completion of the baseline section design, so the combination of the sweeps, lofts, etc. to meet to establish a baseline model, in order to give full play to the advantage of the AutoCAD environment.In the modeling process of the wood line, the pattern model design is a very important part. This article in order to design a style all sorts of patterns model, respectively, from the method of convert mathematical curve to3D model, fractal and the method of base on two-dimensional image or graph to3D model discussed how to create a solid model of the three-dimensional pattern. Geometrical figures a sleek, simple calculation, such as suitable as the pattern model. Of geometrical figures, simple three-dimensional entity to replace the points in the plane or straight line, is converted into three-dimensional model, or use the rotating scan, stretching and other methods to create three-dimensional model. In view of the strong role of the fractal approach in graphic design, the paper also discussed the L system, the IFS method to establish the model of three-dimensional pattern. Also discussed the three-dimensional modeling based on the complexity of the image, first enter the three-dimensional complex image,and then binarization, edge extraction, refining pretreatment, and then combined by scanning the secondary the Bezier curve to establish three-dimensional model. Finally the combined model module, the system through parametric design model for automated positioning and greatly reduce the operation of the designer.This paper is aimed at the specific product modeling design software development, it is a comprehensive consideration of the product characteristics and the design of the professional and technical. Parametric design is concise and simple operation, the designers of computer operation skill requirement is reduced. More important is the short design cycle, wood style increased, and can directly with the help of computer complex manufacturing software directly guide the machine processing, in the case of quality assurance greatly increase wood production.
