With the development of society and the progress of science and technology,3D modeling has become a hot topic in the field of computer research.3D modeling has been applied in the corresponding fields such as mechanical model design,media animation and intelligent manufacturing.3D modeling is closely related to our life.People can have a deeper understanding of things and entities through modeling design.Modeling design can transform the designer's abstract thinking into realistic model,and it can be used in many related fields,such as medical research,education,building model and so on.Therefore,whether in theoretical research or in practical applications,3D modeling design has great research value.Nowadays,with the increasing demand of customers,the efficiency of model design is becoming more and more high.Therefore,how to quickly construct accurate 3D modeling based on realistic objects has become a key problem that designers need to solve at this stage.Although 3D modeling has great research value,there are the following shortcomings in the process of modeling design:(1)Sketch drawing is a necessary part in the process of modeling design.The main methods of sketch drawing are traditional hand-drawing and mainstream sketching software.Among them,the hand-drawn method has the situation that the sketches are blurred by erasing many times.But the commands in the sketching software are more complex,it is difficult for the customer to apply them in a short period of time.(2)With the improvement of the precision of modeling fitting,the calculation will increase in the process of modeling design.Image as a medium or carrier which can quickly capture the surrounding objects is an important resource in 3D modeling design.The layout of the model contour can be seen more clearly by the image,and the contour of the geometric modeling can also be captured.Based on the analysis of the shortcomings of the above modeling design,this paper presents an interactive design method of 3D modeling based on the image.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Corner detection.In order to ensure the clarity of the image,the image given by the customer is de-noising.Under the precondition of de-noising,the algorithm of Harris corner detection is improved,and the feature points of the image are obtained.(2)In this paper,a new sketch contour generation method is proposed.By analyzing the method of generating sketches,adding weights to feature points and fitting the feature points with cubic Bezier curves,the time complexity is reduced and the working efficiency is improved under the condition of guaranteed error and accuracy.(3)3D modeling surface reconstruction.Based on the idea of mesh reconstruction,the classical Power Crust surface reconstruction algorithm is analyzed in this paper.In view of the large number of iterations,this paper presents a method of surface reconstruction based on the combination of cubic Bezier surface and Delaunay triangulation.The experiment proves the feasibility of this method.Finally,the model is rendered by slice strategy to satisfy the visual effect.A series of methods proposed in this paper can save designers more time.They reduce the time complexity and improve the efficiency in the process of styling design.
