Design And Implementation Of B/S Based Educational Management Information System For Professional College

Educational information management of vocational colleges is becoming more and more complicated, The modern network technology is rapidly differentiating with an indomitable apeed and continuously developing, towards the macro and the micro high-end, three-dimensional directions. This requires educational managers have a rapid response and decision while facing with actual feedback problems. Meantime, the requirements of improvement of educational information management are also increasing. Traditional manual operation, file management structure cannot adapt to the current situation.To this purpose, this paper designed an educational integrated management information system for vocational colleges. It is an information management system based on the structoe of B/S, Which will integrate database of distributed and different structure through an unified standard way, aiming at improving information managers’efficiency, and make it easy for managers, teachers or students to understand academic information more vivid and intuitive. This system achieves the dynamic management, mitigating the amount of labor management, reducing the error rate of statistical information and personnel management costs.This paper introduces the research in motion of the integrated management information system academic. First of all, for overall system planning and selection based on the system’s progressiveness, openness, effectiveness, sharing, security, operability and ease of use, etc. Secondly, setting up server platforms and network environments in the use of three-layer application architecture. Thirdly, this paper based on B/S structure of the information management system to build solutions using ASP and SQL Server for the system implementation, which based on the status and requirements in-depth analysis of Weifang University of Science and Technology. This system will become a window for the students and teachers to understand the information of academic, and promote the institute’s communication of international academic and management, owing to its strong background management ructions, modular design, with information collection, review, publishing and online interactive functions. Meanwhile this paper describers systems analysis, functional design, database design implementation process and implementation of the system functions and system testing.
