| To design a English learning software is the main content of this paper. It can realize independent reading with the combination of reciting words. new learning mode and the specific implementation technology.The main system develop technology applied in this study is the Delphi-based Access database.With the rapid development of the information and economy, English is becoming more and more important. For some industry office worker, it is often need to read a lot of English material, even they want to write pure English literature. Since their English level can't reach a certain height , it is need to learn English again. English reading can not only cultivate English language sense, but also can promote the glossary accumulates, improve writing level, and help a lot to train English comprehensive ability. English independent reading and recite words software is through reading, to improve our English integrated ability, and it can meet the basic requirement of English learning. This software based on Delphi language takes Windows XP as operation platform, using ADO database engine and the Access database development technology. It can realize the import of the text. Alao it can store unknown word and the example sentence of the unknown word. We can memory the unknown word by it. It can export the unknown word list and fixed usage list etc.The main work the author has done is shown as follow:Put forward a new thought and method of learning English on the basis of the features of the software on English learning and research status; Analyzed and designed the whole system;Built a model and classification of main subsystem module according to the system function need;Carried on the design on the system database and each storage table; Designed programs and realized for new words book subsystem on and other primary subsystems. |
