Lots of network information is emerging right now with the development of the Internet, which is called "the4th media". How to monitor, analyze and manage public opinions has become one of the researchers' most important research areas. Campus informationization is the new form of campus. It is formed by the establishment of campus network. The campus network provides a new material and technical environment, and has become the most significant carrier of the establishment campus culture. Culture of the campus network is one of the most important constituents of campus culture. Campus public opinion, which is generated by both students and teachers publishing their opinions on the campus network, affects the campus' culture, construction and development. Therefore, it is significant to research the monitoring and scientific management of public opinion on campus network.Based on campus network, this paper studied BBS forum and news websites with commenting function. It designed the campus public opinion monitoring platform by applying key techniques such like web crawler, web pretreatment and automatic classification. The platform consists of some major functionalities, such like web crawler module, pretreatment module, word segmentation module, sensitive topic module, hot topics analysis and detection module, and intelligent prediction module, etc. This paper analyzed the factors, which affect the group evolution of the Internet user groups, and raised the user personal influence factor (UPIF) based network group evolution model. The model aims to the network evolution factor; it improved the traditional BA evolution model by using complex network knowledge and combined with calculation on individual user's influence. It not only takes into consideration the influence of the node degree itself on new users, but also puts in the factor of exist user's influence on new users. This model is more suitable than the BA model for student virtual social group in the network in a certain extent.The major works of this paper are mainly in the following two aspects:1. This paper designed the public opinion monitoring platform;2. This paper established the user personal influence factor (UPIF) network group evolution model, derived and calculated the factor, and raised new thinking for future works.
