Infectious diseases are always appalling words for the entire human. There is no effective solution to the rapid and accurate diagnosis of infectious diseases, especially for the emerging infectious diseases in recent years, such as SARS, Avian Influenza and Swine Influenza.To solve the fundamental problem of rapid diagnosis of infectious diseases is to find a method which can detect the infectious virus rapidly and accurately in a quite simple way. In addition, the molecular biology method based on virus nucleic acids progresses continually and attracts more and more attention, especially the appearance of loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) in the year of 2000. It can complete the nucleic acid amplification under the isothermal conditions in dozens of minutes and it also can detect the existence of target gene or not. LAMP has plenty of advantages, such as simplicity, rapidity, sensitivity and so on, so it has been used widely in many fields such as diagnosis of disease, food composition analysis environmental monitoring and so on. It is even predicted as one of the most promising tools for rapid detection and clinical diagnosis of infectious diseases.This paper designs a small practical real-time turbidity measuring system for detecting the loop-mediated isothermal amplification reaction based on LabVIEW. The real-time turbidity measuring on microfluidic is realized successfully. The loop-mediated isothermal amplification on micro-nano size is combined with virtual instrument, which promotes the automation of LAMP detection. Similar reports have not been seen at home and abroad. The designed fiber microfluidic system solves the problem creatively that conventional optical microfluidic detection systems are hard to achieve miniaturization.The realization of the real-time turbidity measuring on microfluidic has a deep effect on human infectious disease diagnosis field, it makes plenty of infectious disease be identified in time and treated.Meanwhile, the instruments with miniaturization, ecomomic and automation are easier for popularization and application.
