Research On Intelligent Electrical Appliances Shopping Guide System

November 11, 2011, Singles Century reported that China's on line sales has reached a new high. As the rapid development in e-commerce technology and more people prefer on-line shopping, e-commerce becomes an important part of our lives.Therefore, data mining technology was used in my research to find a better way to help the end users making intelligent choice doing on-line shopping and to facilitate the E-commerce Service Providers to do their job well and gain more money. Data mining technology is very important to e-commerce because it can help to design a website, to manage customer relations, to aid e-marketing and many more…The software developments phrases were utilized to complete the project. First, user requirements, both end users and E-commerce Service Providers, were collected, analyzed and understood and then system design, detailed design, coding and documentation, testing and deployment.This system was used by one e-Commerce Service Provider. The result was good. The sales volume was much higher than without it.This research project uses the following data mining techniques, such as correlation, sequential pattern, classification and cluster analyses as well as WEB log.
