| As a critical indicator of showing production rate of LC company, UPH(Units per Hour) has been a great concern for IE department in LC. Engineers utilize UPH to track manufacturing status and with some analysis over UPH performance, they may find opportunities to improve productivity. It is undoubtedly inefficient and inaccurate if using the conventional process which contains getting raw data, calculating required indicator and a meeting to display results. However, as the Information technology is developing fast and the automation level of manufacturing equipment get higher, the tracking mode of manufacturing information has been transformed from Paper-Manually to Network-Automatically. And this project is basically to build a web-based system in order to accomplish the automation of UPH tracking. This project takes EPOXY which is an important module of chipset assembly and test in LC as the research object. The system centers on system functional requirements like system log capturing, log analysis and UPH data query and configuration, combined with the edge technology of web application developing (such as C#.net and JavaScript) and database management system (SQL Server2008). The main goal for this project is building up an automatic UPH tracking system which contains functions like access control, automatic capturing, automatic analysis, comprehensive query, multi-user access and product configuration. This paper introduces some knowledge on Industrial Engineering and UPH related algorithms in the first place. And then focuses on the process of how the IE stuff in LC uses UPH in daily work. Based on the process, it starts working on requirements analysis, outline analysis and detailed analysis. With the results, it gives a comprehensive introduction to the implementation and test work. Besides, this paper does research on the optimal method and fault tolerance mechanism on UPH calculating as well. It provides the best range of time control limit of a singer carrier using the statistical method. And a summary and the prospect of the project are stated in the end of this paper. |
