Due to the speed of the updating, the capacity of the category, self-setting and the fashion style, more and more commercial dealers are called to pay their attention let alone the users. Nowadays, most of the music are abstracted to a loss file which mainly played by a player running on a PC. Compared with the lossless ones the quality is a little less.The article is aimed to provide a player to the fanciers with the home network, who are not or not willing to use the PC a lot but claimed a high quality on the music.According to the background above, the author provide a method to develop the digital music player which supports the wireless network.In this article, the works which the author has accomplished are listed as the follows:(1) Before the development, the author took a thorough study on the framework about the embedded music player, the MVC pattern, metadata of the music files and the CD video techs which hold an adequate preparation.(2) The author participated in the modules such as Network Connection, Music Management, Radio, Settings and the Graphical User Interface during the phase of the design and mainly commitment to a flexible and expansible framework.(3) Accomplished the Music Importing module, the Album Management module and the Settings module.This article ends with a conclusion about the digital music player and pointed out some shortcomings which are to be perfected in the future. Last but not the least, gives the outlook about the work to be continued.
