With the increase of China's overall national strength, aviation industry has come into the rapid development period and drawn unprecedented attention.. China-made large aircraft project was approved by the State Council officially in 2006, the first China-made large aircraft is planned to fly in 2014 and obtain certification of airworthiness in 2006. As a key part from production line to actual operation, airworthiness of the aircraft has attracted wide attention in aviation industry. It's sure that airworthiness is the basis for the development of aviation industry.From the perspective of relevant background, this paper first elaborates on theory related to civil aircraft airworthiness certification technology of airborne electronics, then combines with China-made large aircraft airworthiness certification program as a case, to study the safety analysis and design methods of civil aircraft avionics during the process of airworthiness certification. In accordance with international civil aviation airworthiness standards, this topic mainly explains how the aircraft communications system design can meet the security requirements of the plane top by Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method, and the other methods adopted are Functional Risk Assessment (FHA) and System Safety Analysis (PSSA), meanwhile aircraft communication system is taken as an example. .The safety analysis methods above are commonly used in aircraft design process by international leading aviation companies such as Boeing, Airbus now, but for the application of China's civil aviation sector, they are used for first time .The safety analysis standard in international aviation field-Guide and Method of Safety Evaluation Process for SAE ARP 4761 Civil Airborne System and Equipment wasn't used both in civil aircraft design and military aircraft design in the past, so there are no FAT model and actual engineering case for airborne system safety index.Therefore, this topic is based on the absence of sufficient experience from the past that can be learned in China, to lay theoretical and engineering foundation for our national aviation industry, , through independent innovation, and joint development of aircraft safety design by domestic aviation companies and related suppliers...
