Burglar Alarm Telephone Alarm Software And Hardware Design

The rapid development of the internet has changed people's lives in the whole world. Along with the approach of information age,new improvements have been finding possibly in every walk of life. According to various requirements of each customer in a residential community,function requirements of burglar alarm systems are somehow different. The ease of installation,usage and entertainment is required for an alarm system.A new intelligent unmanned burglar alarm system based on LAN(local area network)of intelligent buildings is implemented in the paper.The public switched telephone network and single-chip computers are used for controlling operations of the networked alarm system.Dual piezoelectric infrared radial and microwave sensors in the system are applied to identify intrusions and then determine whether alarm signals should be acquired or not. If an alarm signal is acquired successfully, an accuracy and in-time alarm signal is sent out by a dual tone multi-frequency model and an audio model through public telephone lines. User telephone numbers, region or community alert phone numbers can be set in the system besides police alert phone numbers. The alerting area that the system can cover can be arranged flexibly.According to actual needs the system is divided structurally into three parts, detect part, alarm part and receive part. Main role of detect part is to transmit signals detected in regions to the host, and then the host analyze signals received, and sent results to the receive part.Theory bases have been introduced in detail for the alarm system. Transmitting methods of the system, division of the system structure and requirements for hardware are also discussed and the objective task of the paper is proposed. Then hardware and software developing platform of the alarm system is introduced. Detail analysis and explanations for hardware circuits and elements are carried on, and also the programs for keyboard module, dial-up module and memory module. At last, characteristics, function installations and methods of the burglar alarm system are described.In the practical developing process, individual elements of the system such as resistors, capacitors and circuit board are selected and the main circuit is designed. A whole burglar alarm system is implemented finally. Hardware tests and software tests for the system are experimented over and over. Expected results are achieved, succeeding in the reduction of the alarm error rate.
