Airport Runway Temperature Monitoring System Design And Realization

In recent years, air transport has developed rapidly and it has received more and more people's favors because of its conveniences, quick and comfortableness. However, there is also certain limitation in the air transport. The change of the runway temperature environment because of the climate reason often causes the airplane to run out runway. Thus, there is safe danger hiding behind the airplane's taking off and landing. So, the real-time measurement of the runway temperature data in the airport flight is a very important link in safeguard service.The temperature monitoring system for airport is just designed based on this kind of demand. The hardware takes the ATmega8 microcontroller as the movement platform, take the DS18B20 digit temperature sensor as the core component, also, we combined the embedded technology, the short distance wireless communication technology and so on to realize real-time gathering and the transmission of the runway temperature. Meanwhile, we use Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 to create the information management system , so that we can realize real-time management, data monitoring , data saving and historical data inquiring. Through this whole system, the airport staff can confirm the maintenance time .Thus,we can avoid potential safety hazard in the greatest degree and decrease the economical losing caused by the postpone of the flight.This project has already applied in Dalian Airport .Through repeated experiment and test, we conclude that The temperature monitoring system for airport has realized the request of temperature survey and the management, finally meted the requirement, the echo is good. It can entirely replace the similar products overseas.
