Jiaxing College's Wireless Campus Network Build And Design

Jiaxing University approved by the Ministry of education set up the provincial general undergraduate colleges and universities In 2000 March. With the expansion of school size, Jiaxing University will be facilities renovation, which will transform, the network is a very important part. At present, the Jiaxing University three campuses still adopts the general local cable access mode, the existing 3 outlets, respectively connected to CERNET, telecommunication and Unicom; net laying fiber has covered all the school buildings, network structure by CISCO network equipment is composed of three layers network (the core layer, convergence layer, access layer), can be support data, voice, video, images and other multimedia information transmission, and has provided network services, data storage and digital campus involves all kinds of information system services, cable network in the service of teaching and life convenient at the same time, there are also some inconvenience, mainly displays in:wire laying inconvenience, loose joints, network nodes may not be moved, difficult management and maintenance. Because the network transformation will directly affect the quality of the teachers and students study and the living condition, therefore, the design before building the campus network to do a detailed analysis and planning. In order to meet the needs of the school campus network application demand and business operation needs, Jiaxing University campus network design and the use of multiple access WLAN Fit AP networking solutions, wireless access point AP were placed in the hot buildings or outdoor open space. In this paper, the Yuexiu campus of Jiaxing University construction of wireless LAN in the following aspects of the design:(1) analysis of the current situation of Jiaxing University LAN and wireless network construction requirements. (2) wireless campus network connecting the detailed planning and development. (3) the implementation of wireless campus network technical specification. (4) wireless network deployment and networking technology. (5) according to the network coverage area, cited the wireless network signal test conditions, and test results are analyzed and suggestions.
